Introduction: Health practices in behavioral changes aim to control and reduce changing risk factors in the population, with the aim of improving the treatment of illnesses or worsening of pre-existing conditions. Lifestyle Medicine (MEV) is also currently recognized as a growing clinical practice that has been gaining prominence gradually and exponentially. Objectives: To demonstrate that in the clinical practice of Primary Health Care (PHC) the MEV Project can be applied as a guide for actions and approaches and care for the community with or without simultaneous illnesses. Methods: These are meetings organized monthly in the unit, in an Operational Group format that address the 6 pillars of MEV: nutrition, physical activity, healthy connection/relationships, toxic control, stress management and sleep. In addition to the meetings within the UBSF, walks are carried out around the neighborhood, accompanied by the multidisciplinary team from the unit and the community. We should also highlight that the format of the consultations carried out by the multidisciplinary team has been gradually modified to achieve the MEV pillars. Results and Conclusions: The application of the MEV Project within PHC is in line with health promotion and disease prevention actions, which this level of care routinely and arduously plans strategies for its effective implementation for the population. Many patients who are part of the MEV Project say that they currently understand that a family health team exists to promote health and have reduced the rigid relationship that some had, who resorted to health establishments when there was an exacerbation of specific or episodic conditions, and got to know UBSF as a place to improve health conditions and prevent illnesses.
