Abstract

Introduction: The university environment can influence behavior and impact the health of students. Objective: Classify the lifestyle of university students and verify their association with sociodemographic factors. Methods: Quantitative, transversal and analytical study, carried out at a university of Espírito Santo. This includes graduate students ≥ 18 years of age and excludes those with academic mobility/disabled. The dice line will occur in November and December 2022, using questionnaires with dice
sociodemographic and Fantastic Lifestyle (EVF). The EVF had 25 items, with 23 answered using a Likert-type scale with five grades (0 to 4 points) and two items with dichotomous responses (0 or 4 points). The total score is given from the point of two items and classified as: Excellent (85 to 100), Very good (70 to 84), Good (55 to 69), Average (35 to 54) and Needs better (0 to 34 ). Application of descriptive and inferential statistics, with the help of Stata 17.0. Opinion of CEP nº 5,668,961. Results: 804 students participated. The average total score was 63.9±11.8. Foram found evidence of statistically significant difference no total score according to gender (homens=65.6±11.9; women/outros=62.7±11.4; p=0.001), ethnicity (whites=65.1±11.6; non-whites =63.0 ±11.8; p=0.010), sexual orientation (heterosexuais=65.1±11.2; bissexuais/outros=60.0±12.7; p=0.000), religion (sim=65, 4±11.3; não=60.9±12.1; p=0.000) and conhecimento area (agrarias=66.0±12.3; health=65.2±12.7; exatas/terra=64 .8±11.0; biological=63.9±9.3; engenharias=63.4±11.5; human=60.6±12.6; p=0.001). Conclusion: The lifestyle was classified as bom. White, white, heterosexual, religious students enrolled in agricultural and health sciences courses will present the best lifestyle.
