Assessment of the lifestyle of professors at the Faculty of Medicine of the Nove de Julho University

Lifestyle Medicine (SEM) prioritizes evidence-based Lifestyle (LS) interventions that promote health, treat and, sometimes, reverse non-communicable chronic diseases that are increasingly prevalent in Brazil and worldwide. Know It is known that physicians with a healthy VS are more likely to advise their patients to follow healthy habits. Thus, the students' VS can be influenced by the teachers' examples, and then, impact on physical and mental health and on the creation of good habits in the students. students to, in the future, be those who reverberate and guide this same behavior to patients. In addition, the professors' VS can be a decisive factor in the quality of teaching, which directly impacts the training of future physicians. This study aims to understand the current scenario of the VS of medical professors in order to outline strategies and reflections in order to improve the health of this population and, enhance the quality of teaching, think about the technical training of future doctors, create networks of attention and awareness, influencing the adoption of good habits and, thus, promote the same conduct to patients and society as a whole.
