Formative Psychology®, as proposed by Keleman, is based on the evolutionary paradigm, understanding the human being as a living system, always in formation, interacting with itself and with the world, moving towards growth and maturation. Thus, the human being, within this somatic-emotional perspective, is part of a process of biopsychosocial evolution. For him, emotions are patterns of neuromuscular organization. Each of these organizations, expressed in characteristic postures and attitudes, communicates its own subjective state, a predisposition and position in the world (Cohn, 2007).
Keleman defends the concept of somatic plasticity, that is, there is the possibility of reorganizing these neuromuscular patterns, reorganizing attitudes, perceptions and the ways in which we relate to people and life situations (Keleman, 2016).
The aim of the Training Practice is to expand the subject's options by creating new possibilities for behavior and experience, developing emotional self-regulation.
